Loucks Found Guilty Of First Degree Murder

Former county resident Kevin Loucks, 44, was found guilty of the murder of Montez Pearson last Wednesday in a jury trial in Washington County.
Loucks didn’t pull the trigger of the shutgun, but took actions that led to the shooting July 19, 2023 on Lunte Creek Road, west of Nashville.
States Attorney Dan Janowski presented his case that Loucks should be found guilty because of his role of bringing the gun and driving the victim to rural Nashville. He was angry with Pearson because he had been with his wife. Pearson,44, was from E. St. Louis,
Court appointed Public Defender Attorney Dennis Hatch argued that there was no evidence that Loucks forced Pearson into his car, because he had no bruises……
