It was a cool evening Saturday—a perfect night for a Chili Cook Off.
Other events included a kiddie tractor pull, a pumpkin decorating contest, a corn box, a free movie sponsored by the Lions, music by Easy Street Entertainment and 14 kinds of chili.
“We had a really good turnout despite some spitting rain,” said Chamber President Alex Eade. “We had more chili entries than we’ve had in a while.”
The Chamber started the Chili Cook-Off in 2001. In the early years it was held at the OCYA Park, before being moved to Hanover St. for more space for booths and other activities.
Eade is happy to see everyone enjoying the event, especially families.
