Varsity Lady Rockets
The Okawville Lady Rockets dropped two of three matches this week, splitting conference matches against Red Bud and Sparta and losing to 1A rival Gibault.
The Lady Rockets could not generate many points on serve and lost to Red Bud 25-12, 25-18 last Tuesday.
Junior Varsity Wins One of Three
The junior varsity team also defeated Sparta but lost to Red Bud and Gibault this week. Their current record is 3-5.
Freshman/Sophomore Team Wins Three Straight
The freshmen/sophomore team won three straight matches to raise their record to 5-2.
The young Lady Rockets squeaked out a three-set win against Red Bud via the hard cap rule by winning the final point 17-21, 21-12, 15-14.
