Recycling Notice for Okawville Residents
ATTENTION RESIDENTS OF
THE VILLAGE OF OKAWVILLE:
Recycling carts were delivered. There is a sticker on the lid of each one identifying what can and cannot be recycled. The first recycling pickup will be on Wednesday, July 26th (and every other Wednesday going forward.) The large recycling dumpster will be removed permanently on August 1st.
Trash pickup will continue every Tuesday.
Trash rates (which include curb-side recycling) will increase to $24 per month beginning with the bills that are mailed the first week of September.
The dumpster will be available this Saturday, July 22nd, from 8-10 AM or until full.
will there be any more recycling pickups after aug. 1st.
According to the Village announcement the curb-side pick ups will continue. It’s the Large recycling dumpster that has been available in the past that will be removed.
