Madelyn Tudor Crowned Little Miss Illinois

Madelyn Tudor, was crowned Little Miss Illinois on the day before she retired as Washington County Little Miss.

Madelyn Tudor, the daughter of Brett and Maggi Tudor of Oakdale was crowned Little Miss Illinois 2023 Sunday, July 9th. She will travel the state for appearances, showcasing her community service and volunteer work.
The Pageant for Madelyn’s 6-9 group, and also the Junior 10-12 age group, was held in Muscatine, Iowa in conjunction with the Miss Iowa Youth Program.
A total of 29 girls vied for titles of Little and Junior Miss Iowa and Little and Junior Miss Illinois.
Judging was based in private interview with judges, 30 percent; outfit of choice, 10 percent; talent, 40 percent, party dress, 15 percent, and on stage question, 5 percent.
For the talent competition, Madelyn performed a tap dance routine to “Sea Cruise”.
Her Outfit of Choice showcased airplanes and flight patterns for when she grows up, as she would love to travel and become a pilot.
Madelyn received scholarships as well as the Little Spirit Award for exemplifying the spirit of the pageant, smiling, being respectful and a joy to be around. She also received the Little People’s Choice Award for voting on-line with monetary submission.
