Keith B. Tillotson Sr.

Mr. Keith Tillotson of Okawville, IL departed this life in the emergency room of the Washington County Hospital in Nashville, IL on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 10:47 P.M. He had attained the age of 64 years, 6 months, and 12 days.

Keith was born in St. Louis, MO on December 5, 1958, the son of Thomas and Marilyn (nee Vogt) Tillotson. He was united in marriage to Kimberly Harper in St. Louis County on October 4, 1980, and she survives his passing.

Mr. Tillotson was a machinist at Advance Engineering in O’Fallon, MO for over 30 years until his retirement in 2011. In his free time, Keith enjoyed fishing and cooking, watching NCIS and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals. He especially loved coaching his sons in baseball when they were young.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Kimberly Tillotson; two sons, Keith Tillotson Jr and Andrew Tillotson and his partner Hope Toensing all of Okawville; two grandchildren, Oliver and Eisley Tillotson; a sister, Pam Sellers and husband Jim of St. Louis; two brothers, Mike Tillotson of St. Peters, MO and Terry Tillotson and wife Michele of O’Fallon, MO; a sister-in-law, Sandy Rose and husband Scott of Fairview Heights, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins, as well as a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Lindsay, and his maternal grandparents, Elmer and Marie Vogt.

In accordance with the wishes of Keith and his family, cremation will be performed.

A visitation to celebrate Keith’s life will be held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 1 P.M. until 3 P.M.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Keith Tillotson and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
