Terry Wyciskalla, Jerry Roesener and Jerry’s daughter Jess brought history to life as re-enactors at Fort de Chartres Rendezvous last weekend. The Nashville area residents dressed in period clothing to portray the French Indian War, an extension of the Seven Years’ War between Britain and France (1754 – 1763).  “It was a fascinating time in history”, Wyciskalla said. He wants people to get a glimpse of what life was like for early French and British settlers in this region of “New France”. This was a different time and the beginnings of America had not been discussed yet.
