Memorial Day Ceremony Honors Vietnam Casualty And Others Who Died In War

Special recognition was given to Merrill Suedmeyer as one of 1.1 million U.S. military who have lost their life in war at the Memorial Day Service at the Nashville Park Monday.
A wreath was given to his siblings, Gary Suedmeyer, Joyce Elsesser, and Mary Kania to place on a cross with his name.
Gary Suedmeyer read the letters the Army Commander sent to his parents following Merrill’s death at age 19 in 1967.
