Two Nashville Residents Facing Sexual Assault Charges

Two people from Nashville were charged with criminal sexual assault charges in Washington County after being arrested last Monday.
Dylan J. Meyer, 22, and Kaelee A. Jenkins, 19, both with home addresses in the 700 block of Mill Street in Nashville, appeared in court Thursday to face felony sexual assault charges.
Meyer was charged with Criminal Sexual Assault, a Class 1 felony. Class 1 is the second most serious category of felony in Illinois and carries a sentence of up to 15 years in prison.
According to court record, Jenkins is also charged with Criminal Sexual Assault, as well as an additional charge of Conspiracy against Civil Rights, a Class 2 felony. If convicted, the sentence for a Class 2 felony is between three and seven years.
