Nashville FFA Wins State Dairy Judging

Kaskaskia College hosted the State Dairy Judging CDE on March 31, and the Nashville FFA Chapter placed first overall.
Gracen Hoffman placed first as an individual competitor, and Collin Rolf tied for tenth individual.
FFA members from the entire state had the opportunity to judge six classes of dairy cattle. The cattle were placed on many factors including: udder, dairy strength, feet and legs, and frame.
Members also completed a test over cattle nutrition, equipment, herd management, etc.
