Despite Weather, First Ever Sons of the Legion BBQ Competition a Success

Nineteen teams braved blustery early spring weather Saturday at the inaugural Sons of the American Legion BBQ Competition Saturday in Nashville.
Competitors from as far away as Washington, Mo., had meat on the grill in the first ever event on the streets around the American Legion Post 110.
Though the skies were grey and the wind was blowing, turnout for the event exceeded the organizers’ expectations.
