Okawville Board Approves New Liquor License

The board approved a six month liquor license for the Village Grill and Pizza, effective May 1. It will remain as a restaurant serving alcohol with food, rather than changing to a bar, said Mayor Jasper.
A liquor license will pave the way for the Village Grill and Pizza to put in gaming machines, after it buys the building it now leases.
The board heard a report of the Finance Committee meeting with Eric Gregg of Clearwave to discuss their work issues experienced with other towns.
