Two ILS Musicians Nominated for Lutheran Honor Band

Two musicians from Immanuel Lutheran School in Okawville were among those chosen to participate in the Illinois Lutheran Honor Band Festival March 17.
Eighth graders Sophia Wood and Laney Hundelt were among students from 18 schools across the state chosen to attend the event held at Concordia Lutheran School in Peoria.
They were among more than 70 performers, rehearsing under the direction of guest conductor Christopher Render, the Director of Bands at Richwoods High School. The event concluded with a performance by the Lutheran Honor Band.
