Hartkemeyer Set to Retire as Top Ag CEO

What started out as six months or so of consulting work for Kevin Hartkemeyer resulted in a dozen year’s of work and a dramatic expansion in the size of Top Ag.
Hartkemeyer, who recently announced his retirement from Top Ag, oversaw dramatic growth during his time as Chief Executive Officer. Sales ballooned from $100 million to $345 million in 2022.
Hailing from northwestern Iowa, Hartkemeyer came to the area initially as a consultant after Dale Tippett retired in 2011 and his replacement only stayed for eight months.
