Lady Rockets Are Regional Champs

Postseason has officially started for the Lady Rockets basketball team. Entering Regionals with an impressive 27-4 record, Okawville took on Dupo in their first match-up.

With a final score of 51-14, OHS defeated the Lady Tigers. Alayna Kraus was leading scorer with 18 while Briley Rhodes also had a great offensive performance with 13.

Megan Rennegarbe added nine points, nine rebounds, and six steals in the game. Raelyn Obermeier finished with eight points, six of which came from behind the 3-point arch. Senior guard, Ellie Frederking, and Maggie Sawicki each had five of their own.

Other scorers include Nora Wood with four, Madisyn Wienstroer and Mallory Bening with three a piece, Camy Wiedwilt with two, and Jenna Hackstadt with one. Wiedwilt also had five rebounds.
