Junior Lady Rockets Finish Second in Class M

The Okawville Junior High Lady Rockets came up just short of another Class M State Title Friday, losing 33-28 to Pinckneyville.

Trailing for most of the second half, Okawville made a charge late in the game before coming up short in the loss.

Down by seven with two minutes left to play, the Junior Lady Rockets scored six unanswered points to make it a 23-22 game.

Pinckneyville responded with five straight and led 30-24 with just under a minute left to play.
