Becky Lynn Kurtz

Becky Lynn Kurtz, nee Smith, 57, of Lenzburg, IL, born December 31, 1965 in Rushville, IL, passed away on Sunday January 15, 2023 in Marissa, IL. Becky had worked in Quality Control at Deli-Star in Fayetteville, IL. She loved to go camping and spending time with her grandchildren. Becky attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lively Grove, IL

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Smith; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Alice and Ralph Kurtz; and one sister-in-law, Nancy Lynn Renth.

Becky is survived by her husband, Richard Kurtz, whom she married on November 12, 1983; her mother, Linda Gayle (Phelps) Smith of Marissa; three children, Joseph (Melissa) Kurtz of Chicago, Zachary (Lacey) Kurtz of Lenzburg, and Bradley Kurtz of Fairbanks, AK; five gandchildren, Reed, Kinzley, Nora, Kellan and Oaklee; two brothers, Timmy Smith and Matt Smith; half-brother, Billy Anderson; two half-sisters, Tracy Chandler and Julie Frech; an aunt, Becky (Vic) Menely; five brothers-in-law, Mike (Regina) Kurtz, Allan (Wendy) Kurtz, Edmond (Cheri) Kurtz, Larry (Erica) Kurtz and Charlie (Erin) Kurtz; sister-in-law, Annette (Jeff) Leonhardt; and by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, the American Heart Association or Mass offerings to St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday January 21, 2023 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Lively Grove.
