Former Ashley Resident Achieves Weight Loss With Nutrition Program

Summer (Lamczyk) Boyer called herself a “yo-yo dieter, losing weight for the short term, and then gaining it back, plus a little more.
“Growing up, I struggled with weight my whole life. I’d have a little success, but never anything sustainable,” she said.
Boyer found success with Optimal Health, a program of eating packaged meals and home-cooked low calorie/low carb meals.
The former Ashley resident lost 125 pounds in nine months.
At her heaviest, Boyer, 45, weighed 307 pounds. Obesity affected the life of the Navy Veteran, now a Nurse Practitioner. “I was lethargic, tired, and chronically sleep deprived,” she said.
