Rockets Drop Two Conference Tilts

The Okawville Rockets returned from Christmas Break and traveled to Red Bud for a conference battle with the host Musketeers.

A basket from Hayden Shubert, and three straight from Aidan Anderson got the Rockets off to an early 9-3 lead. Free throws from Andrew Savard and Dillon Teter gave the Rockets an 11-10 lead after one quarter.

Red Bud found its footing in the second quarter and took the lead thanks to some strong work on the offensive glass. Joe Jansen and Landen Shubert tossed in three pointers, and a late lay-up from Grant Schleifer pulled the Rockets within three points at the half, trailing 22-19.
