Okawville Netters Drop Two of Three Last Week

The Okawville Lady Rockets volleyball team dropped two of three matches this past week, losing to both Valmeyer and Chester before bouncing back with a win against Alton Marquette. Their current record is 15-10. 

The team traveled to Valmeyer, where the Pirates are undefeated at home, and lost 25-16, 25-17. 

Jordyn Heckert had six kills, Maci Wolf had five kills, and Cami Wiedwilt had four kills. Madi Wienstroer had thirteen digs and seven points on serve. Raelyn Obermeier had eight assists and Kylie Going had five assists. 

The Lady Rockets then lost another road match at conference rival Chester 25-15, 25-15. Okawville managed only nine points on serve and twelve kills, and their conference record fell to 4-3. 

Wolf had five kills. Obermeier had seven assists, and Jenna Hackstadt had four assists. Megan Rennegarbe had ten digs. Wienstroer had eight digs and 22 serve receptions
