Betty Ann (Helms) Carlson, 88, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away on September 15, 2022, at her residence. She was born on October 14, 1933, in Okawville, Illinois to Elvin and Esther (Reichman) Helms. She enjoyed being outdoors and working in her flower garden. Betty enjoyed collecting cookbooks, recipes and quilting materials. Her favorite thing was getting in the car and driving down the road.
Betty was a member of Mountain Home Church of Christ. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Gustav L. Carlson; her parents, Elvin and Esther Helms; her beloved sister and brother-in-law, Arnold and Bethel Eigenrauch; one grandson, Jaimon Michael Jones; and great-nephew Joseph Craig Eigenrauch.
She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Jones (Steve Street), Nancy Carlson, and Julie Hill; five grandchildren, Jessica Sowell (Ray), Abby Thomas (Kenneth), Adam McMackins, Jamie Hill (Doug Ireland) and Jennifer O’kieffe (Spencer); nine great-grandchildren, Savannah Willis, Nicolas Grunwald, Josiah Hartman, Gabriel Hartman, Abigail Thomas, Jacob Thomas, Annabelle McMackins, Isaiah McMackins and Emmie Ireland and honorary grandchild, Nicole Ellis; niece Diane; nephew Craig (Kathie) Eigenrauch; great-nephew Justin Eigenrauch; and two “forever friends” Mrs. Melba Eigenrauch and Mrs. Arlene Ahrens.
