Harper James Mueller

Harper James Mueller, precious infant daughter of Kyle and Kelsey (McClay) Mueller, departed this life at the St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, Mo on Thursday, August 18, 2022, at 5:28 P.M.

Harper was born on August 14, 2022 at Memorial East Hospital in Shiloh, IL. Besides her parents, Harper was welcomed into this world by her sister, Halle Mueller of Nashville, IL, paternal grandparents, Gary and Rhonda (Harre) Mueller of Nashville; maternal grandparents, Steven and Denise (Meyer) McClay of Oakdale; paternal great-grandmother, Shirley Mueller of St. Libory; maternal great-grandparents, James “Larry” and Mary McClay of Oakdale; uncles, Colby McClay and wife Erica and Dylan Mueller and fiancée Kendra Wilken all of Nashville; aunt, Callie McClay and fiancé Austin Schorfheide of St. Louis, MO; cousins, Jedd and Ada McClay of Nashville and a host of other relatives. 

She was preceded in death by her paternal great-grandparents, Eugene “Pete” Mueller and Melvin and Dorothy Harre and maternal great-grandparents, Lester and Ruth Meyer.

From the moment Harper James was expected, she captured the hearts of her family.  She was a beautiful baby girl who touched the lives of so many in such a brief time. She will lovingly be remembered forever in the hearts of her family.

A private funeral service will be held at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, IL.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the family of Harper Mueller and will be given to the NICU at Belleville Memorial Hospital and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home, who is assisting the family with arrangements.
