Junior Lady Rockets Win First Two

A huge seventh inning gave the Okawville Junior High Junior Lady Rockets a 15-1 win over Coulterville in the season opener last Tuesday.

Leading 5-1 heading into the final frame, Okawville exploded for ten runs in the top of the seventh, with Jilien Harre, Anna Herzig, Schae Juenger, Kenley Hackstadt, and Addi Hasheider all driving in runs in the inning.

Hackstadt was the winning pitcher for the Junior Lady Rockets, scattering four hits and one run over seven innings while striking out 12. 

Harre and Hackstadt each finished with two hits to pace the offense.
