Jeff E. Liggett

Mr. Jeff E. Liggett of Radom, IL, departed this life at SSM Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL on Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at 9:42 A.M.  He had attained the age of 54 years, 7 months and 21 days.

Jeff was born on December 5, 1967, in Farina, IL the son of Ira and Sherry (Frick) Liggett.  He was united in marriage to Denise Novak on May 7, 1988, in St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Radom, IL and she survives his passing.

Jeff worked for many years as a farm hand at C&G Farms in Richview, IL and he was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Radom, IL.  Jeff enjoyed operating his trackhoe, side by side rides and he loved being with his family.

Left to mourn his passing is his wife Denise Liggett of Radom, IL; two children, Joseph Liggett of Radom, IL and Breanne Liggett of Springfield, IL; brother, Lee Liggett and wife Michelle of Carlyle, IL; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sherry Frick and grandparents, Gene and Joann Frick.

Funeral services will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Friday, July 29, 2022, at 2 P.M. with Fr. Andy Knopik officiating.  Interment will follow in the St. Michael Cemetery in Radom, IL.

Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Ashley, IL on Friday from 12 P.M. until the service hour.

Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the St. Michael Cemetery and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
