Darlene “Mickey” Eggemann
Darlene Eggemann of Addieville, IL departed this life on Friday, July 8, 2022, at 11:34 P.M. due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Nashville, IL. She had attained the age of 67 years and 13 days.
Darlene was born in Granite City, IL on June 26, 1955, the daughter of Charles and Rachel (nee Wood) Lister.
“Mickey” was a homemaker and a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Okawville, IL. She enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables, liked doing arts and crafts, as well as crocheting, knitting, and quilting. She had a love for all animals, but especially her two dogs.
Left to mourn her passing are her three children, Danielle Eggemann of Fairview Heights, IL, Dawn Miller of Collinsville, IL, and Dennis A. Eggemann and wife Kathy of Carlyle, IL; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a brother, Bob Lister and wife Pat of Omaha, AR; three sisters, Shirley Vernon of Okawville, Carylin Birkner and husband Don of New Athens, IL, and Ora West and husband Sean of Salisbury, MO; an uncle, Tom Wood and wife Mary of Belle, MO; numerous nieces and nephews, as well as a host of friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, James Lister; her twin sister, Marlene Juarez; and a sister, Vicky Juarez.
Funeral services will be held from the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Friday, July 15, 2022 at 11 A.M. with Pastor Eric Wood officiating. Following the service, cremation will be performed, and interment of ashes will be at a later date.
Friends may call at the Campagna Funeral Home in Okawville on Thursday from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. and on Friday from 9 A.M. until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Washington County Partners for Pets and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
