County Has Spent Only Small Part Of ARPA Funds

So far, Washington County has spent only 6 percent of the ARPA funds it has received. The federal government gave the county $1,348,693 through the COVID American Rescue Plan. Another $1,348,693 is expected in May.

ARPA expenses paid are a contract to Bellweather, LLC for $10,000 to administer the fund, $60,965 for premium pay to Ambulance Dept., $11,456 for premium pay for Communications Dept. (911), and $1,592 to Serpentine for the County web page.
