Nashville Grade School Social Worker Receives HOPE Award

Nashville Grade School Social Worker Michelle Kuhl has received the HOPE (Helping Other People Excel) Award. She was among the KSED special education staff recognized for exceeding expectations in their work for the district and the students they serve.

The honorees were nominated by their peers for showing extraordinary dedication to serve others and make a difference when working with students, parents, and colleagues. They showed exemplary dedication and unending compassion and ingenuity.

“I was shocked, humbled, and honored to receive the HOPE Award” said Kuhl.  “During this Pandemic, many school staff in the area are stepping up and going the extra mile to help students, families, and one another. After receiving the award, I was so touched when several of my Nashville #49 co-workers told me they had nominated me.”
