Music Students Compete In County Contest

Okawville Grade School, Junior High, and High School instrumental and vocal students performed at the first ever Washington County Solo and Ensemble Contest on Saturday, March 5th. The event was held at Nashville High School. 

Each solo or ensemble group performed for a judge who would score the performance and then provided in-person feedback. Three performances received a division 2 rating, 45 performances received a division 1 rating, and 4 performances scored a perfect score 1st superior rating. 

Students had not participated in an in-person solo and ensemble contest since March of 2020.
