A local bar/restaurant, the Mule Barn, was extremely busy, said co-owner Dawn Ratajcyk. The business sold food and drinks inside and outside, and had a DJ inside.

Patrons started coming in the morning, hours before the 1 p.m. parade, for  Polish duck soup czarnina. Business was brisk for hours after the parade.
