Joyce A. Piasecki
Joyce A. Piasecki, 69, of Nashville, IL, passed away at 9:50 P.M., Thursday, February 3, 2022 at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Joyce had worked in the banking industry for thirty-five years. She retired from Association of Midwest Museums, where she enjoyed planning conventions for the association. She was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Nashville, IL and Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Posen, IL. Joyce enjoyed shopping and reading. She was a former member of Friends of Nashville Library. Joyce is a graduate of Nashville Community High School, earned an Associates Degree from Kaskaskia College and a Bachelors of Accounting from McKendree University.
She was born January 2, 1953, the daughter of Sylvester and Barbara (Prusacki) Liszewski.
She married Raymond Piasecki on May 6, 1972 at Our Lady Perpetual Help Church in Posen, IL and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2018.
She is survived by one daughter, Kristy Piasecki of Kirkwood, MO; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Dorothy Lamczyk and husband Eugene of Ashley, Edward Piasecki, Jr and wife Mary of Nashville, Mary Jane Combs and husband Harold of Nashville, Rose Ceglinski and husband Jeff of Ashley, and Nancy Bejma and husband Mike of Ashley; five aunts, one uncle, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister, Sandra Bronke; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Edward and Martha Piasecki.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Our Lady Perpetual Help Church in Posen with Fr. Andrew Knopik officiating.
Friends may call from 8 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday at Our Lady Perpetual Help Church in Posen.
Please use social distancing guidelines. Everyone in attendance is required to wear a mask.
Burial will be in Our Lady Perpetual Help Cemetery at Posen.
In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to Our Lady Perpetual Help Cemetery or Masses and will be accepted at the funeral home.
