Cynthia L. Barczewski
Cynthia “Cindy” L. Barczewski of Nashville, IL, departed this life at her residence surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at 12:50 PM. She had attained the age of 62 years, 4 months, and 11 days.
Cynthia was born on September 15, 1959 at Pinckneyville, IL, the daughter of Mike and Lucille (nee Kania) Barczewski. She was united in marriage to Paul J. Wienstroer on December 27, 2008 at the St. Charles Catholic Church in DuBois, IL, and he survives her passing.
Cindy began working in the Washington County Circuit Clerk’s office on January 2, 1988, and was elected Washington County Circuit Clerk in 2008, a position she held until her passing. She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in DuBois, IL, St. Theresa Altar Sodality, Washington County G.O.P, and the Illinois Circuit Clerk’s Association. Cindy enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, vacationing in Key West, and she loved her “Sunday Fundays” with family and friends.
Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Paul Wienstroer of Nashville, IL; five brothers and sisters, Cathy Kuberski and Steve Brink of Centralia, IL, Richard Barczewski of Nashville, IL, Fred Barczewski and wife Tracy of DuBois, IL, Dave Barczewski of Pinckneyville, IL and Angie Huff of St. Libory, IL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Thomas Barczewski.
In accordance with the wishes of Cindy and her family, a private funeral service will be held at the Campagna Funeral Home in Nashville, IL.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made to the St. Peter’s United Church of Christ Cemetery at Stone Church, IL or the St. Charles Catholic Church Renovation Fund and will be accepted by the Campagna Funeral Home.
