Nashville Country Mart To Close At End Of Year
After three years of operation, the Country Mart grocery store in Nashville will close at the end of the year.
Inadequate business, along with high maintenance cost for refrigeration unit repairs, are prompting the closure, said General Manager Kathy Nordike.
The thirty full and part-time employees have all been offered positions at the Country Mart store in Freeburg. Nordike, who works at the Freeburg location, said that they do not know how many will take that opportunity.
The inventory will be brought to the Freeburg location.
