Great Weather Helps Make Christmas Events A Hit
By Debby Stricker
Blessed with unseasonably warm weather, the Okawville Christmas Stroll Nativity Pageant and Nashville Hometown Christmas had very good crowds.
“We could not have asked for a better weekend”, said Nativity coordinator Nicole Heberer.”The weather was perfect and the community came out and supported the event. It really puts us in the Christmas spirit. It was truly awesome to see multiple generations come together for the true meaning of Christmas.”
Numerous people making it a successful event gives Heberer joy. “This is what makes our town so special – when people come together and give back to our community. What better time to do this than during Christmas. So many people gave up their time/donations to put this together, so it was truly a team effort. I cannot say thank you enough to everyone who helped make the Live Nativity and Christmas in the Park a memorable event for all.”
