Okawville Schools to Host Vaccination Clinic

Okawville schools released information about the upcoming COVID vaccination clinics in the coming weeks.

School nurse Melinda Albers sent an email to parents detailing plans for the clinics. Registration is open now for the clinics set for December 17 and three weeks later on January 7.

Students age five and older are eligible to receive the vaccine, and students who have already had their first shots can get the second at the clinic.

Per state guidelines, boosters are available only for residents 18 or older who received their second dose six months ago.
