“Be Prepared” is the Boy Scout motto, as most people know, but it takes preparation and perseverance for a Boy Scout to become an Eagle Scout. Stephen Glant can attest to that.
Glant, a former resident of Okawville and member of Boy Scout Troop 127 in Nashville, recently completed the steps necessary to be named an Eagle Scout, the highest rank attainable in the Boy Scouts of America.
Inspired by a trio of Scouts from his same troop to earn the honor, Glant put in the work that paid off last week when he was designated as Troop 127’s latest Eagle Scout.
