After a marked decrease in the number of new COVID cases in Washington County last month, the number of new cases in November is trending in the wrong direction.
In the first half of this month, the Washington County Health Department has reported 38 new cases, a substantial increase over the 27 cases reported in the first two weeks of October.
This month’s higher total was driven largely by last week’s total, when 25 new cases were reported. That is the highest weekly total since September.
