Rock ‘n Roll Trivia Benefits Angel For Autism

The 10th Annual Rock ‘n Roll Trivia raised $1,300 for Angel For Autism, a program that funds sensory rooms in Southern Illinois Schools. Sensory rooms provide a calming environment to facilitate learning for children with autism and learning disabilities.

Paul Todd and Jeff Rabenort, along with WDLJ-97.5 The Rock of Breese/Carlyle hosted the event Friday at the Roland Barkau Memorial golf course. Momma G and Jack Davis of the radio station emceed the event.

Nine teams of eight players answered questions in which all categories pertained to rock ‘n roll. Some of the questions required identifying a brief portion of a song. Besides answering the question, some groups even sang.

Teams paid an entry fee, bought mulligans for a guaranteed right answer each round, and bought raffle tickets.

Tune in to WDLJ from 7 to 10 a.m. to listen to Momma G and from noon to 4 to listen to Jack Davis.
