OHS Cross Country Teams Compete Twice

Okawville’s cross country teams competed at Chester and Wesclin last week.

At Chester last Thursday, medals were awarded to freshman/sophomore and varsity runners.

Chloe Tepe finished fourth in the varsity race at 22:02, and Cindy Snyder finished 13th with a time of 24:15. Kylie Buehler was 23rd among varsity runners with a time of 27:20.

Among varsity boys runners, Grant Schleifer finished second with a time of 17:18. Other varsity finishers were Hayden Shubert (27th – 20:26), Dominic Perry (28th – 20:27), Joseph Jansen (33rd – 21:31), Evan Perry (35th – 21:51), Matt Roesener (40th – 24:14), Jared Juenger (41st – 24:46), and Hayden Hagarty (45th – 28:38).
