Okawville Hosting Walk to End Alzheimer’s Oct. 23

Members of the Okawville community will have a chance to help in the fight against  Alzheimer’s disease by taking part in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s Saturday, October 23.

One of the organizers of the walk, Jenna Hunter of Okawville, says that the fight against Alzheimer’s is personal for her.

“My grandfather Hubert Heberer and mother Karen Ross both passed away due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease, and I know several other members of the community are currently dealing with this disease,” she said.
