Businesses See More Job Applicants

No one described it as a “flood” of applicants, but several managers of area businesses said that they have had an increase in applicants during the last few weeks.
The Road Ranger has hired enough new employees to be return to 24 hour a day, said manager Ben Tally. Hours were extended September 13.
For several months the staffing shortage was so severe that the business was closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. It is now closed for that overnight shift only from Sunday-Monday.
The Road Ranger still needs more employees and is hiring, said Tally.
