Federal money is showing up in the coffers of local towns and villages as part of the American Rescue Plan that passed earlier this year.
The relief package appropriated money for distribution to tens of thousands of non-entitlement units of local government such as towns and villages with populations under 50,000.
Washington County had 13 NEU’s, all but one of which is currently listed as having completed the application process for the allocation.
