COVID Case Count Down from August to September in County

After a spike in the number of new COVID cases in August, Washington County saw a decrease in the case count last month.

A total of 158 new COVID cases were reported in September, a decrease from the 211 cases in Washington County in  August.

If the trend continues into October, it could indicate that the wave of new cases that began in July has crested. In the first five days of the month, the Washington County Health Department has reported just eight new cases.
