COVID Case Count Stabilizes, Booster Shots Now Available
The rate of increase in new COVID cases has slowed over the last week, with 13 new cases reported in Washington County over the last week.
For the first 28 days of September, the total number of new cases reported in the county is 141. That is an improvement over August when the case count spiked to 211. That was the fourth highest monthly count since the start of the pandemic.
School-age residents (age 6-19) and those in their 60s each had six new infections, with the next highest age groups being residents in the 40s and 50s, both of which had four infections each.
