Opposition Causes Delay Of Cell Tower Hearing

Tillman Infrastructure, Inc. temporarily pulled its application for a Special Use Permit requesting a 358’ high cell tower because of growing opposition. It had been scheduled to be heard at the September 23 Washington County Zoning Board meeting.  

Area Rainbow Ranch property owner, Alan Blumhorst, led an on-line petition drive against the tower that was planned for near his property. He collected 1,200 online signatures, as well as 4 pages of in-person signatures.

The tower is planned at the corner of State Highway 15 and Jefferson Road in Plum Hill Township, on property owned by Bill Eade.
