The Okawville Chamber of Commerce is bringing back a popular event, the Chili Cook-off on Saturday, October 9, after a one year hiatus due to COVID.

The Chamber will sell armbands for unlimited tasting for $15 and regular size bowls for $3.
Entries will be judged by a panel of guest judges. Customers will vote for a “People’s Choice” award. There will also be an award for “Best Decorated Booth.” Prizes will be awarded to winners.
Also featured at the Chili Cook off will be music, face painting, a kiddie tractor pull at 6:30 (registration at 6), and carved/decorated pumpkin contest – deadline 6 p.m. The Farm Bureau Young Farmers are sponsoring the tractor pull.
