Chili Cook-Off Street Closures, Trick-or-Treating Times Approved by Village Board

The Okawville Village Board approved road closures for the Okawville Chili Cook-Off and set trick-or-treating times during the regular meeting Monday night.

Per the request of organizers, the board approved the closure of Hanover Street from Belleville Street to High Street  for the Okawville Chili Cook-Off. The street will be closed from 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 9 to noon on Sunday, October 10 for the event.

The board also set trick-or-treating hours for Sunday, October 31 from 6 – 8 p.m for children age 12 and under.
