Lady Rocket Golfers in Action

Led by Taylor Hettenhausen and Macie Staley, the Okawville Lady Rockets finished second in the Okawville Invitational August 28.

Hettenhausen and Staley finished tied for fourth overall as individuals with scores of 91. Those were the low rounds for the Lady Rockets, who finished with a team score of 394, good for second overall to Columbia’s score of 370.

Rounding out Okawville’s top four were Avery Killion with a round of 102 and Bella Welch’s score of 110.

Erin Nilles (111) and Paige Riechmann (134) also competed for the Lady Rockets.

That strong finish at their own event came two days after the Lady Rockets finished second in a showdown with teams from Breese.
