Benton Man Dies in Motorcycle Accident

A Benton man was pronounced dead by Washington County Coroner Mark Styninger Sunday morning as the result of a motorcycle accident on State Route 127.

Brandon Metcalf, 33, of Benton was killed after crashing his motorcycle on State Route 127 at Mississippi Road south of Nashville.

According to a report from Styninger, his office was dispatched to the scene of the motorcycle accident at 9:36 a.m. on Sunday.
