Just Us Kids Day Care Reaches 25 Year Milestone

Just Us Kids Day Care in St. Libory has grown from 16 children when it opened 25 years ago to now serving 63. The former St. Liborius Church nun’s residence was converted to a day care.

The facility that many doubted would survive has been an overwhelming success. 

“Some people didn’t think we would make it,” said Director Tonya Sandheinrich.

Now Just Us Kids operates at or near its licensed capacity of 69.

The first Board of Directors were: Leo Kramper, Larry Schmitz, Mona Mense, Jeanne Koeller, Renee Duffie, Cindy Schmale and Kenny Lintker. “It started because of their time, energy, and dedication,” Sandheinrich said.
