New Teacher Already Feels at Home at OGS

Even though Okawville is smaller than her hometown, Liz Thoel will feel right at home when she begins teaching at Okawville Grade School this year.

Thoel, who grew up in Valley Park, Mo., and now lives in Nashville, says she already feels like she will be at home at Okawville.

“I went to school in Valley Park, and that was a big basketball school too,” she said. “We didn’t have a football team there, and our school colors were also orange and blue, so I already feel at home.”
